I think the market has already recognized this. That's why the stock fell from 40 to 8+. I think one thing you may be overlooking is the different severities of ED. I agree ED patients will choose PFE IF there are no side effects and IF it actually works for them. For those people who have side effects or for those people who have no response to PFE there is MUSE. Nobody on this thread thinks that MUSE will be able to compete with PFE as the market leader (unless of course PFE is another Phen-fen), but this is a huge market we are talking about. Not to mention (and please doctors or shorts or whoever please correct me if I am wrong) PFE seems to only work in mild or psychogenic cases of ED which leaves a lot of people unaccounted for. I forgot who mentioned it, but I, too, would be content with another REEBOK, or PEPSI, or ORACLE.
I think where people have most of us longs confused is why we believe in MUSE. Again, not many of us are trying to say VVUS is going to outsell Viagra. However, I do think the market has overcompensated for the Viagra effect. This stock @ 8 is ludicrous, IMHO.
