I personally don't think you have a leg to stand on in pursuing legal action against CVIA. Stocks go up. Stocks go down. Everyone who bought into this stock was hoping to make a quick (and easy) buc. Right? Just take a look at the euphoria on this board a week ago. There were no lies told here. Did Jack ever say that the stock was going to go up after the merger? What he did say was that there was going to be a reverse split. He didn't say how much of one, but he did volunteer this. He did say the stock would have "tangible value". What does "tangible value" mean? Prior to the merger, CVIA was worth $0. Now it is worth ? (.008). Everyone has to lick their wounds and either decide to hold on or jump ship. All of us have only ourselves and our greed to blame.
