UOL Publishing and Newbridge Networks Form Strategic Partnership
Alliance To Distribute UOL's Web-Based Training Courses to Newbridge Networks Employees and Channel Partners
McLEAN, Va., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- UOL Publishing, Inc., (Nasdaq: UOLP - news), a publisher of interactive and on-demand Web-based courseware for the corporate training and education market, and Newbridge Networks (NYSE: NN - news; TSE: NNC. - news), a leading global supplier of networking solutions and services, today announced a collaborative agreement to distribute UOL's online courseware content to Newbridge Networks employees and channel partners over the Internet.

As part of the agreement, UOL Publishing developed and launched the Newbridge(R) VCampus(TM), an online interactive system of education for delivery over the Internet and corporate intranets. The Newbridge VCampus, which was launched earlier this month, offers a wide range of telecommunication courses from UOL's extensive content library to Newbridge employees. Newbridge expects to provide additional UOL training courseware through the Newbridge VCampus over the next several months. Newbridge Networks has 6,000 employees on five continents.
