D-Mark Series I Digital Channel Banks - USRX buying?

Franklin Sales Manager Alan London says October is shaping up as a record-breaking month in bookings. In addition to sales of well-established product lines to long-time customers, demand for
the D-Mark Channel Banks is high. London comments, "We’re struggling to keep pace with orders. During the last few weeks, we’ve added personnel in both sales and manufacturing, and we’re still fighting to meet delivery dates. We’re also seeing our customer base expand with new orders from major customers like Raytheon and U.S. Robotics." From thisOct 31 announcement, I take it that USRX is buying the Digital Channel Banks or is it some other technology they are buying? Can anyone comment?

From FTEL's home page under "products":
The price of high capacity T-1 digital access lines have become more
affordable. More corporate customers are installing T-1 lines to cut
phone costs and make advanced digital services available to their
businesses.

FRANKLIN TELECOM's D-MARK Series I Digital Channel Bank
terminates T-1 access lines at very low cost. The D-Mark offers
extremely high reliability, an elementary user-procedure and
upgradeability.

The D-Mark splits the T-1 line into 24 analog channels that can each pass voice, FAX or modem traffic at 64Kbps. With a built in ringer, channels dedicated to voice operation can terminate into a PBX or a standard telephone set. The D-Mark includes a T-1 DSX interface with options for an integrated CSU and operator console.

The D-Mark is simple to install, operate and maintain. It includes menu driven configuration.

In most cases, the D-Mark will be ready to use straight out of the box. Simply connect the channel lines to your company's communications equipment and the T-1 line to the DSX interface and the system becomes operational.

Exactly what SUPERIOR TECHNOLOGY does FTEL have that would be favorable to USRX's future?
