Hi I2: I just visited the Fed site to see what happened in the January 1998 meeting of the FOMC. In that meeting, there were no votes against the stance taken by the FOMC. However, in the two previous meetings, Mr. Broaddus (probably misspelled it), voted against the stance of the FOMC. He wanted to raise rates. I did not see him listed as a voting member of the FOMC in the January meeting.

The concern of the FOMC is obvious from the minutes of the meetings. I quickly breezed through the meetings and it appears that the Fed was counting on SEA to slow things down a bit. That has been the case for the last few meetings. Now if that does not happen . . . . By the way, the Fed site now has the transcripts from the FOMC meetings--much more detailed than the standard minutes.

I am glad to see that the market is treating you well.
