Totally outlawing it would be real tough. Off the top of my head it reminds me of the 55mph speed limit. Everyone thinks it saves lives but noone wants to abide by the law. In general law's should reflect what the majority of the people are willing to live with. Now, the majority of Americans would not want to live with non-corporal punishment laws. So we would be left with arresting a whole bunch of parents, or putting more power into agencies that circumvent the constitution. Like the Child Protection Agency.

Some issues and problems are unsolvable by laws. This is one of them IMO.

Child protection laws should be enforced the same way any law is in the country. The police should handle it, and then the courts.

I believe X gave us a few months back the legal definition of abuse. It seemed reasonable to me at the time. In court all sides would be heard legitimately.

Besides, we waste billions on these bloated agencies, which in the end serve very few, and cause many more people allot of problems.

Yes being ganged up by such intelligent women as yourselves is kinda fun!
