We were all prepared for a lack of profit ( surprisingly fore warned of the issue ) but the sales is the big story here.
Heck if it wasn't for the extra advertising expenses one could make a case that they had a good quarter. Granted they blew it in several areas but someone was quick enough to change coarse before it was too late.

In retrospect the street didn't buy all the extra advertising either and marked the company down because of it.

I was pleased to hear from the conference call of the changes in direction that had already been initiated, I had expected them.

I'm grateful to not have to hear another one of K.E.'s conference calls.

Just one observation, the shift in retail sales to OEM sales could be due in part to the use of the ATAPI OEM drive to satisfy at least some of the perspective retail buyers. Often we will install an OEM drive into an existing older box but this benefits IOM in the form of less packaging and customer support.

Well just two observations, Ingram has some 100,000 resellers by itself and with those of us in the trenches day after day there's a certain amount of forced experience that is acquired, for one to suggest that the OEM's while buying millions of these drives just don't know how bad they are and that they're defective is insulting.
Not to suggest that there isn't room for improvement because there always is.

Now over 300 sold and still only 2 failures.
As good or better than a hard drive.
