Statisticians make the statistics comform to the way they there bias flows.. that is human nature.. Realistically, we have three oscillators.. a short term one called a 5/17, a medium term one 5/35 and a long term one 10/70.. I do not deviate from the three that the software developer suggests.. These are enough to determine the overall thrust of the market.. In the futures market we call it "who's in control".. A little silly but it works.. I would say the 5/35 is in controll on the dailies but possibly the 10/70 on the 5 minute chart.. So, you can see, this is a judgment call.. Not to be silly here, but nothing is simple, even fundamental analysis, and that is why I summoned Hutch.. Hutch seems tuned to this market and he has been unusually quiet in this retracement.. If the fundamentals are still good, then this is a buying opportunity? just fishing. :~) And isn't fishing for fun and pleasure.. Ross
