Go figure??? I visited the FDIC Institution Directory webpage today, and I'm very confused!!.. I pulled up all NY State Stocked owned institutions, and to my dismay, Northfield Savings Bank (SI NY) was listed there.. Could someone please explain this?? I thought Northfield was mutually owned?? What's up with that?? They had a few other banks listed, one's that i thought were mutuals, ie. Jamaica SB, Emigrant SB, Atlantic BK NY... Can any bright individual please explain to me what this all means... thankyou kya
