Where's Aribbs when you need him. A friend of his at Chevron knows about the dropping of ether based products and there are corn ethanols on the market.

Now Arcon is approaching this very very methodically. They have a high rate octane and we do not even know if it is corn fed ... LOL...

The point Jay seems to be missing is clearly defined in the news release. So apparently if he cannot and does not see the cleared defined point I guess the news release is not so lame is it? The market is switching over to non ether base which dominates the market. Now since apparently the ether based ethanol has outperformed the corn made which was how it became the market leaders. Now with the band, non ether ethanol will be evaulated against other non ether and DF-144 277 octane tested rating is very impressive.

Now the amount used to do the job should also be evaulated. The amount of the octane booster used to raise the octane is a cost factor. Now the higher the octane rating the less use have to use to get the same results with a lower rated booster or product. Now with that in mind the cost effectiveness is clear. This how Arcon will market the DF-144 higher because of the higher rating.

Everything Jay is looking for is back at the start of this thread in the under 100 posts. Maybe he will take the time to do some reading and even pay for a long distant phone call.

Jay this is no slam mind you. But if you can not see the points in the news release I am afraid you are going to have to take it to the company.
