Mike: The AOL Fool Qualcomm board has missed your eloquence re the Foolish attempt to hem us in over there. Think that the AOL Fool Qualcomm board will soon be back to plenty of tangents, digressions and other "off topic" stuff. The rants are rare though unlike here. I for one enjoy both. On Asia, suggest that idea that Japan, China, Korea, and/or Southeast Asia are all mercantile peas in a pod might just might be a slight simplification - i.e. wrong. There is no contest in the real world of course. China is the future. Japan is the past - a little like England in the world of analogy. That IMO is why the news coming out right now re CDMA getting a seat at the table in China (with the powers that be by the way) is HUGE for the Q. Note: Loral ain't doin' too badly in China either right now. On the cusp for those of us long in the Q, Loral and G* IMO. Even Japan as wounded and mismanaged (by the government) as it is will be a major CDMA opportunity starting with a bang this summer - viz. Casio. To all. Rant on. Chaz
