X,
Of course and action adventure movie addict would fall into a coma..
I guess that's why I don't go to movies much any more. I liked the car chase in "The French Connection" twenty years ago or so, but several thousand repetitions, coupled with explosions, has pretty much driven the genre into the ground, at least for me. I'd rather see something with some character development, and not just the superficial totally one-sided, almost allegorical characters Hollywood gives us now. Speaking of which, I don't know if there is a contest on this thread for "Worst Film", but my nomination would be "ConAir". I got stuck watching this turkey in a hotel room in Miami where the storm had taken out the satellite feed, and all I had was the pay per view films. I mistakenly chose that one and sat spellbound by the stupidity for most of it. By the third false climax, anticlimax or whatever, I hit the "off" button.
