LEIX competitor Trimble Navigation TRMB reported and it had mixed results. The comps showed sales increase of 26.5% and earnings increase of 33%. However the gross margin fell to 49.6% from 52%. The sales increase is good news for LEIX it indicates fairly strong demand. Hopefully the margins will hold up as indicated by management here because there are indications of that competition is heating up in this sector.
