Evan:
Frankly, I can't answer all the questions you ask. SuckerFinder seems to know all the answers, so we may have to ask him.
Yes, I have spoken to most of the people at Xecom; many times to Joe Lanza, but more recently to Joe Vigliarolo.
I think they are trying their hardest to make the company succeed. But I think, and I have expressed this before, they need more experienced telephone people on the Board and Management. I'm not in the camp that says replace current Board or Management, but add to it experienced telephone people.
Like you, I think the company is in a good business. But remember it is a very small company. It does not have all the capital it needs. It cannot afford many more of the mistakes, which, as you say, may have occurred here and there. I believe mistakes that have been made are because experienced telephone people were not on board for advise at critical times.
Xecom's Board and Management, although rookies a couple of years ago, have learned a lot and are, I believe, learning more and more about the telephone and telecommunications business; but, as Mark Twain once observed, experience is the best school, but God is the tuition expensive.
