Francis,

I think you answered your own question really. You became a MEMBER. I have nothing against FREE posters. It is WHAT they post. I will openly debate anyone who debates with dignity and consideration for others. Yes there are always 2 opinions to every question. Most of us however can and do conduct ourselves with dignity and commonsense.

Management states there are rules and guide lines that ALL posters must uphold. If action against those who violate the rules of improper conduct are not enforced it will continue. I have to wonder why the rules are not enforced? When I see FREE posters allowed to break the rules and continue posting when a paying customer would have been banned for this kind of conduct, I do have to question; why?

Anyone who is not mature enough to debate and interact with others without name calling, shouting obscenities, and degrading others has no place here. I can tolerate ignorance and stupidity but disrespect for others and their opinions;name calling;and obscenities are degrading to others and anyone doing it just once should be banned. This is not the first instance of this sort from Mr. Michael Fisher. Yet he is still here as a visitor. The question that begs to be answered is, WHY?

I suspect he has slipped through the cracks. He said the last time he was sorry and it would not happen again. Yet, he is continuing the assaults on others who post here.

I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who has a gripe about my posts or the number of them. My e-mail address is dusty@myhome.net

If the rest of you are happy having to put up with the garbage from Mr. Fisher, and his kind, that is okay too. I can always move on and will do so if this happens to me again. If you are offended as I am, I would ask you to contact the webmistress and voice your displeasure and tell her who the trouble makers are and request their removal.

I find it emotionally very draining to have to contend with this sort of mess and will not be a part of it.

We can all work together to keep OUR thread garbage free for all of us or let it become a sewer. Management has no way of knowing what is happening here if we don't tell them.

The trouble making kind will continue making trouble because they have nothing to lose! They have paid nothing to be here. I doubt they would risk buying in and then being banned for their actions.

Obscenity attacks have no place on SI, period end of sentence. I became a member because after checking out other boards I saw the garbage and at the time I joined SI, they appeared to have a dignified forum in which to learn, share, make friends and grow in a common interests; stocks and investing.

Many who were allowed to post FREE have NOT abused others or the threads they post too. They like yourself Francis have joined or moved on without incident. That is the way decent folks conduct themselves.

I had no intent to tar ALL FREE posters. But, many members, who lurked on the site for a long time, joined without the benefit of a singe FREE post. So to say, it is necessary to allow Free posting to acquire new members is not really true. It is obvious that allowing the Free posting was not accomplishing its intended purpose, as it has been discontinued as I understand. All I am saying is it is up to all of us to protect OUR forum on SI.

Francis, I am glad you enjoy my posts on Largo Vista, and thank you for saying so.

Dusty
