Broadcom IPO: WOW! This pertains to AWRE indirectly.

NEWS CLIP:
From CBS Marketwatch -
In special situations, Broadcom skyrocketed an eye-popping 150 percent in its hotly-anticipated market debut.ÿ The maker of high-speed chipsets for telephone networking equipment and cable modems sold 3.5 million shares through lead underwriter Morgan Stanley at a price of $24 a share. ÿ The opening trade took place at 62, with the stock last up 36 points to 60. ÿ The estimated price range was raised a week ago to $18 to $20.ÿ When Broadcom initially filed for its offering with the Securities & Exchange Commission, the estimated range was $10 to $12.ÿ

Sounds like AWARE's business model, but on the cable side. LOOK AT THE INTEREST IN THIS ONE! Don't these investors realize that cable modems are going to die a slow death just like BETA vs VHS in the VCR market!! ADSL will kill cable modems.

Nevertheless this IPO will attract interest from the general public today and they'll start looking around for others in this sector. IMHO, but I've incorrectly estimated the public before.
