NEWS FINALLY NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release, April 16, 1998 PUMP TESTS UNDERWAY BPI INDUSTRIES INC. (the "Company") (BPR - VSE) is pleased to announce that the Pump Tests on the Coalbed Methane ("CBM") project in southern Illinois, previously announced in the news release of March 19, 1998, are now underway.ÿ Mid-Continent Methane, Inc. (the Company's partner and operator of the project) has advised the Company that at present, there are two wells being tested, with the expectation of having the remaining wells under test shortly.ÿ The data from these Pump Tests are the last information required by Cawley, Gillespie & Associates of Fort Worth, Texas to complete their independent feasibility study.
