Soros mentioned in his book Soros on Soros (no ego there -g-) that Jimmy did good fundamental research and analysis, but wasn't a good trader, and that Soros had to do all the trading. Alan Abelson trashed this assertion in his "Up & Down Wall Street" column in Barron's, saying that people who were there remember it differently. Tom
