Now wait a minute!!! It was really late last night when I wrote that post about whether I would hire you. I certainly would, compared to the other people who applied for the job. I was just trying to be discreet, because one of the other applicants sounded exactly like Jane, and I did not want to seem to discriminate against her. Obviously, someone who hangs out with outlaw bikers is a bit of a security risk, having a key to my antique store and everything. Even if that person were honest, one of her buddies might steal her keys after a wild night of drinking beer and playing pool, and load the whole store into a truck before dawn broke. Then where would I be?

Your Christianity would be an asset, in that I would assume you would not use really foul language at the cash register, or run off with any of the goodies. But in San Francisco, at least, most employment counselors advise that the "outside interests" part of a resume be dropped entirely, and that skills be stressed instead.

In reference to your post, though, you did say you would fire someone who you found later to be homosexual, because homosexual sex makes you sick. I am paraphrasing, but you can look at your posts for the exact wording, and I think my memory is fairly accurate. On the other hand, if I hired you based on your experience and later found out you were a Christian, I would not fire you for that. Did you know I am married to a Catholic, incidentally? I think you are assuming I would be prejudiced in areas where I am not.
