This post starts out a little tentative,
but I think you will like the conclusion.

Dropped by Future Shop yesterday and was
very disappointed with the location of BZ
on the shelf, and frankly, the box and
title just don't jump out and grab you,
easy to walk right by. It is a very different
affair for Blizzard's Starcraft which is
gets the best spot in the store--at CompUSA
too.

But on the other hand, I was VERY dissappointed
with Starcraft after I brought it home, for me,
it just did not have the charm of Warcraft, and
the first practice level was so dark a gloomy.

Now BZ is pretty dark a gloomy too, but I have
to say, it is also as slick as snot. I played
the demo of that yesterday for the first time
and I cant wait to upgrade my machine (I've
been slogging along with a 486-120, having made
a game out of how long I can hold out--cant
wait for BX chipset, or maybe K6-3D).

Anyway, I digress. Activision has huge titles,
real earnings (I guess earnings this quarter
are coming?--I can't see how they could surprise
on the down side, timing awesome after xmas for
game sales with all those new machines out there).

Bought 1000 at the market today--good luck to
everybody here, hope we do well. Have only read
the last ten posts or so, will enjoy reading
the archive now that I'm finally in!
