LII & LIII trading is still Datek, because of the disclaimer that they may choose to trade in house. When business is slow limit orders are usually scooped off. When you think you are trading with an outside market maker; you may be disappointed.

Besides LII and LIII trading you have to pay a fee; so why not let you have a slight discount. The advantage you think you have to get another market maker's quote. When you want to buy, it is a different quote. But not so in house. In house they have quotes that is different from Nasdaq or Quotron prices.

Have a few brokers and you will learn quick. Which in layman's term, it is you paid tuition and you learned fast.
