Valuespec, The power is similar, but you are comparing apples and oranges here. Silverman does not have the assets that Gates has. If Silverman's franchisees wake up, they can bring him down. But how would Gates' clients bring him down if they don't like his practices? If you cross Silverman's path, he can bring you down by terminating your franchise, and thus creating a default on your loan. Can Gates take you down the same way? As a CD shareholder, you are a sucker.
