Steve and Gorak, I just got this from Datek. The reason they moved the express server off of the MCI connection was many people were having problems with it. I had good results with the MCI connection but that must have been unusual. Also, we didn't know the whole story: Datek just added a third express server, on the MCI network, 208.140.149.2 - I don't know the "orders" number, but who cares, using the IP addresses is faster and I'll take any edge I can get. It appears their intentions were to have an express server on each of their three connections. Congratulations Datek! This is exactly the kind of service to the daytrader that we should be happy for.
