I note that I have been buying further and further out in time, too - as I've gotten more experience. When I short-term trade the index-options I have had better luck with at-the-money or very near-the-money contracts. You don't do spreads, do you Jrgen ? I think we talked about that before.... ...do you ever write CALLs against your long positions (?) or do you just cash out when things start to go down and re-enter later ? One of the things that surprised me about IT was that he never seemed to play the short side. -Steve
