There is allot of competition, they're all banks. What NetBank has that the others don't is lower cost (bricks, tellers, etc.). This lower cost is returned to customers with higher interest rates on checking, savings, etc.

The only true competition for NetBank is other Internet Banks. First Security Bank was one, but they were bought out buy Royal Bank of Canada. I believe there are a few others, but I'm not sure.
