Valuespec, CD's business is a collection of sub-standard franchises along with SCAM membership clubs. The exceptions are AVIS and the realtors. Why would one pay $69 to be a member of a discount buying club, when you can get the same, if not better, discount by calling the normal reservations line? If you are a sucker, CD will take your money. If you think CD is in Internet Commerce, then I am afraid you don't quite understand Internet Commerce. If they are up with technology, how come their Hotels lag in technology? If more people did their DD, they would come to the conclusion that CD is more a house of cards and not the great company you that you portray it to be. Don't compare CD to MSFT. You are only making a fool of yourself.
