OK, heres the deal. a penny play for next week? will this work if we all dive in over the weekend? ummm no. WOOD penny stock trading at around .05 kinda of a big float, but hey , shares are only a nickel. I bought this around 6 weeks or so ago @.0775, so I m down 30%... but wait! shares were up last qurter when sec filing came out... new one is due, and their 4th quarter is always their best... they sell hardwood.. it's HARVEST time.... Plus.. they have a documentary airing on PBS NOW (starring Charleton Heston) that will most likely point out how they responsibly FARM hardwood in Brazil rather than rape the environment. This is a "green" company.
Madera International specializes in the harvesting and exportation of timber products from South America to lumber distributors throughout the world. The company owns timber property in Brazil. For the nine months ended 12/31/97, revenues totalled $2.2 million, up from $792 thousand. Net income before extraordinary item totalled $356 thousand vs. a loss of $210 thousand. Revenues reflect increased sales orders for hardwoods. Net income also reflects lower expenses as a percentage of revenues.

Admittedly I am already in this at a loss, but while looking it over, I thought, ya know maybe I should do a "revenge" buy. Maybe we ALL should take a further look at this. Plenty of time over the weekend.. if we like it, lets slip in nice and slow?
I am new here, and still have lots to learn.. if there s something glaringly wrong with this picture please let me know....
cheers, and have a good weekend ....
