Congratulations on the recent run up in price.

I don't hear you complaining about LASIK now that has contributed to the bottom line of VISX and jump started the entire industry.

Do you still have the same concerns ? I am assuming you are
not a doctor by the amount of time you able spend on this
thread and others.

Soon you will not be able to to diligently tout VISX and bash
Summit as more advanced machines come on to the market. It may
be time to distribute some of your profits from VISX to LVC
centers and other manufactures, even, if you can bear the thought
BEAM.

The VISX business model is essentially flawed. Which is why
Summit tried to augment it's sources of income by owning
laser vision correction centers (As you know they failed
miserably), but it does point ou the problem. The fact that
they clung to it for as long as they did I think says something.
(I don't believe they are totally incompetent, many talented
people worked long and hard on it)

P.S. The Summit Apex is regarded by many as being superior
for LASIK, and they still have largest installed base.
