Earning are scheduled for May 7. According to Zachs on 4.11.98, estimates for the qrt. are .20 vs .15 last year. There were only three estimates given and they range from .19 to .20. I you recall, SFSK beat estimates by .02 for the qrts ending 09/97 and 12/97. FWIW zacks rates SFSK as a strong buy. I confess I have what you guys call weak hands regarding SFSK. I love the company but the PE of 44 on 1998 earnings looks high when you look at Safeskin's 27.5% 5 year growth estimate. I plan to sell into strength, but knowing me I'll probably just keep holding (I have a hard time selling my holdings in any company). Happy trading.
