Miss Christine, Maybe meeting people on the net is the best way to make new friends. When meeting people in 3D, we are first impressed by their size, age, sex, clothes, voice, mannerisms, etc. We know none of that by meeting in cyberspace. We probably imagine what each other looks like, and would be disappointed by the real person. Are you aware, for instance, that I sport a pink Mohawk hairdo and have no teeth? In space, we only know each others minds.
Does anyone have any idea what was going through the woman's mind that traveled to meet her death at the hands of the man who said he would sexually abuse her and then kill her in his email to her? She even left a note to her husband to not bother looking for her body. I am perplexed. Is this an aberation, or are we going to see more bizzare behavior coming from space meetings?
