irby, It appears to me that everyone is looking at internet advertising the same as they would TV advertising. I see it much more like newspaper adds. Just check out the size of them. When I read a newspaper I find it very easy to ignore the adds, and I think the advertisers know this. As a consequence no advertiser will pay very much for a 3/4"by 1 1/2" add in a paper. Geesh, I've seen fancier adds on S.I. on the BK thread then YHOO. I hadn't even noticed any adds until these stocks went crazy and then I looked. Once the advertisers realize that they are not advertising to a captive audience , I think they will scale back the price that they are willing to pay for these slots. Dome Pete , Investors Overseas, Caroline Mines, Dozens of these kinds of things I've seen before . They are all worth zero now, as I suspect yahoo will be one day..
