JNJ probably now has less than a 10% market share in both US and Europe and no competitive product on the immediate horizon. They are dead in water, and are in process of a large layoff in Miami area rumored to be in neighborhood of 30% of workforce. They are a huge, powerful company and won't give up on this market, but they do not now have a competitive product, M&A is their most likely route.
