To thread, Wondering when someone was going to start this thread up. Glad you did. Have been in this company since Sept 97 when it was Viscorp. Ran across it while rummaging through the Westergaard site. Emailed Hardesty a couple of times to see if he had any additional news. No response. This company can be boiled down into two simple stories: Quality of management and arrival of cheap satellite communications technology. That's all there is folks. You won't get any more information than that until they chose to become a full reporting company. No doubt about the credentials of the managers. I've always been told to buy the management. Good management can get you out of a bad mess and poor management can sink a Titanic. President of this company got THQI turned around. Interesting story there. Managers working solely for stock options. No company in this league could afford to pay the fair market value of their salary. Obviously they want a challenge and they are looking for a big payoff. The other side of the story is the arrival of 'cheap' satellite phone links. Relative term of course. I would not pay the amount of money it would take to buy their services, but then again I have the convenience of local phone service here in Denver. However, there are so many people who have no choice in phone service and who must phone home. That's the marketplace. It's a good marketplace as people love to talk. Look at the success of this website and others like it. I'm sitting on this one for the long run. Although a good argument can be made for trading the distinctive saw tooth pattern this stock exhibits. The story is irresistible. Nice to see the big surge on the stock today. Wonder what's up.
