Dwight, you don't really want to discuss the Clinton scandals, do you?

While most Americans are fascinated a little by the sexual aspects, most of them believe sex is private, and are disappointed with themselves when they are overly interested. I don't think guys who have fantasies of what it would feel like to be Bill Clinton, and have Monica Lewinsky dropping by with papers to sign, would say it is their shining moment or anything when they imagine what might happen.

On the other hand, it is absolutely normal to think about sex a lot, for men and women, and most people don't think they are sinning when they do that.

The Clinton scandals are really about perjury, suborning perjury, and obstruction of justice. Monica Lewinsky is just the cherry on top of the hot fudge sundae or something. Who could have imagined that happening, anyway? The other women from Bill's past, if all the allegations are true, are certainly indicative of a very lustful nature, and some people think he is a sex addict, or totally out of control. Of course, Clinton is a life-long church goer, so it is unclear what consistent influence religion has on moral behavior for many people.

I am not sure what this has to do with the discussion we are having, however. Is there a connection, since you brought it up? If you are going for the double standard angle, I am not sure it applies here. No one is saying that all heterosexual sexual expression is disgusting, for example.
