Xyplex label on MRVC Gear! MegaSwitch, Gigaframe, nh2016 10/100 auto switch... All sold under Xyplex brand name! See xyplex.com WOW! I pulled up the pdf for Nbase and Xyplex 2016 autoneg switch. The Xyplex box is black, the Nbase is white. Xyplex is stressing their customer service and training, Nbase their hardcore engineering. I don't really understand, but I imagine it could be very good. Two brands for two market segments. Different list prices? Xyplex more costly, but with added software features and customer support. Nbase is the engineer's choice- most bang for the buck... I would also like to point out an obvious fact pointed out by Steve H on Yahoo! messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com that if Xyplex earns a higher percentage of MRV sales in the US, then the DSO (Day Sales Outstanding ) will be reduced for MRVC as a consequence of the simple averaging of the times! Now, we know the good news is increased US sales, but DSO will drop as a logical consequence, and I bet more than one analyst will be astounded! Richard
