Sales brochure now on www.tc2000.com re V4-----my initial impression is luke warm . Scans are no longer formula based but must come from canned examples (and ones that you seem not to ve able even modify the words for). Seems to be many more Worden comments each day though-- a very good thing. Fundamental stuff is far too basic and not that useful-- to me at least (they should have at least added a price/sales filter eg) . Indicators on the bottom of the stock screen are now stacked meaning far less room to see price chart if you like seeing say 3 indicators at a time. Overall extra cost over and above the DOS version (non-pro) is about $700/yr.But, for that you see more worden reports each day (it would appear) and one gets 9000 issues (frankly, I suspect most people do fine with under 1000--I used to have 1055 but cut that back to 300 since I found the other 700 I would never have bought anyway. I suspect Worden will-- ultimately---- not want to continue to support the DOS version (Y2K fix only for win version??). So, Jan1 2000 may be about it for DOS? (just my suspicion). Frankly, I quite like the DOS version but that's probably a dying duck within 18 months. Sure do like the extra Worden reports each day--useful ideas--so maybe that will swing me I don't know.----Would welcome others thoughts here as maybe I'm misinterpreting what I saw at www.tc2000.com site. V4 users please respond.---eg can one for eg ask only for a scan of say %foff yr high for Software stocks only or does one get back the whole 9000 scanned list?
