You have a good point... this is a big part of what causes the runnup.
MMs don't have inventory, having ignored the stock for so long, and therefore run away from any buying. The market does work these things out over time.

KTEL watchers have seen them go into new businesses before, I wonder if the LONGS , clearly not worried about the my revenues and earnings warnings, know about he financial problems of the past, they filed for bankruptcy in 1984 after unprofitable ventures into oil exploration and shopping center development.

This is a painful short and should not be attempted by anyone who is not experienced, and able to handle getting in and out fast.
