A few questions re Townsend Analytics:

Background:

I've used BMI Market Center Platinum software for the last year and find it is at least 30 seconds behind the mkt. I was at a firm in Dallas where they use the Archipelago System, and saw a 10X change minimum improvement in execution times. Where it takes me an average of 7 minutes to execute a stock trade (in/out with confirmations, and some hoping and praying), The people using Townsend Analytics and Archipelago as their ECN setup are in/out in less than 10 seconds -- needless to say, I was awestruck.

Q1. Re ISDN connections: is a 64K ISDN line with dynamic IP addresses sufficient or must I use a 128K ISDN line with static IP address?

Q2. What is the approx cost of data download from Townsend, and the use of the Archipelago software? I was told that it would cost about $250 for the software rental/data stream per month.

Q3. Where can one look for the best prices on
a. network cards,
b. for the 3COMS OfficeConnect LAN/Modem - I'm hearing about $461.

Q4. What other firm is available other than Southwest Securities to trade through, and who is the best?
