I was looking for info on SLB earnings this a:m when I read your post and WHAMO. I laughed so hard I choked and spewed coffee all over the console. Thanks for a great post.
Now down to business. As you may/may not know we modern Texans,being adverse to braggin and all,simply try to state the facts. Your post brought to mind an old Texas remedy that has been handed down for decades that I think will beat SLB hands down on price and guarantee,and is a lot more fun and soul soothing than gulping down some expensive pills. (ie: $17.00 a hundred) Hell, us po folks down here can't afford nothin like that. You be the judge.
The following is a remedy for what we in S.Texas call a
DOSE of the HANGS
First, depending on where you're domiciled, you may have to drive a spell but the rewards will be well worth it.
Gather up your friends, load up the ole pickup with a couple a Truck
Tire Tubes, a cooler of your favorite brew, a cd-player and/or git-tar
and head to the Hill Country. Your lookin to go to one of our fav-o-rite, half dozen or so, beautiful,clear,cool,spring fed TUBE-IN' streams like the FRIO, GUADALUPE, PERDANALES, BLANCO, MEDINA, etc.etc.
P.S. BIG DOG.....Didn't you have the Guadalupe in your backyard at your Whiskey Canyon Spread near K'ville ???
Now that your movin to Camp Verde, do you have a clear creek near or will you have drive back up to the Guadalupe ??
Once you get to your stream unload the gear and have a friend drive the pickup downstream a couple a miles or so to wait for ya. (Better give em a couple brews to pass the time)
Now get the tubes,cooler of brews,music,snacks,and a couple a good cigars ( a couple a babes in Thong Bikinis wouldn't hurt) and launch
into the rio for a leisurely (albeit medicinal) journey down Heavens
waterway. As you're splashin,thrashin,singin,drinkin and generally havin a big ole time you will undoubtedly ingest some agua rio and
Bingo!!! this my friend is the whole purpose for all this carryin on.
