Thanks Bachmann,

I have not shorted before and am just trying to learn how it works. I will try and rephrase the question. The company has 6.86 million shares outstanding and WSJ shows short interest of 2.7M. YAHOO shows 2.4M float. So what I want to know is how can they short more then the float since they are borrowing the shares. Does this mean that the company is loaning the shares to be shorted? I just thought that this seemed odd.
