Steve-

I'm not sure I completely understand how a short sale is executed according to Nasdaq rules. If I put a short in for the market, won't it always execute just as the order gets to the MM screens? Does a marketable order have to wait for an uptick to be filled at the bid? And what about limit orders to sell short - are they accepted then? And last, if using Datek, or any other system that goes through Island, can you place a limit order to sell short between the bid and ask?

Thanks...Garrrett
