Talking to myself here is the only way I can think of to make one more correction.

EyeTel's H.261 compliance is the video, not the audio codec. The more important point is that you can only share common video or audio codecs if you can make the connection in the first place. The H.320 (ISDN), H.324 (POTS) and H.323 (IP) standards are crucial in this.

Netscape is the only vendor not actively supporting these standards.
I expect them to be forced to do something in the H.323 arena soon.
Why? Because Intel and Microsoft are quite serious about making
sure that PCs can collaberate and do vidoeconferencing - and they are
leading the adoption of the H. standards.

I would ask EyeTel specifically about these standards and also whether
they are participating in the International Multimedia Teleconferecing
Consortium (IMTC) interoperability trials.
