Here is where I stated my beliefs: Message 4024803
Here is where you responded to that post, and said that I am "somehow twisting everything to allow discrimination against homosexuals". techstocks.com . -- a quite ridiculous conclusion, I might add. With that logic, as I pointed out to you, I would then be "allowing discrimination" against anyone who does anything which I believe is "sin".
The problem with your logic, Christine, is on the one hand you say I have a right to my religious beliefs, but at the same time you have said that certain of those beliefs alone are "discriminating" against individuals. I have maintained all along that I can believe that an activity that someone else or myself is engaging in is "sin", and at the same time I can of course and indeed must treat them civily, politely, and respectfully. And nobody here has ever said they wish homosexuals or any other person to be denied the right to work or live life in freedom, except where they must serve time in prison for offenses against society. |
