I have said time and time again that I don't really care what belief systems people have, but that I think they somehow need to be separated from discrimination against people who are homosexual, or Jewish, or black, or any other group whose civil or legal rights are diminished simply because of who they are.

Christine, homosexuals are not a race of people, as are Jews and Blacks. It may be that homosexuals are "born that way", I don't know, and neither has science proved that. You believe that homosexuals come by their state by genetics, but that has not been proved, but it may be so. In any case, it doesn't matter. Some say Alcoholism is a disease that is genetically inherited, like heart disease. Nevertheless, I believe that alcoholism is wrong, and to be treated and recovered from as much as can be possible.

We do know that Mothers who are cocaine addicts give birth to babies who are cocaine addicts. I am NOT saying that homosexuals are the same as cocaine addicts. What I AM saying is that, like the prostitute, the alcoholic, or the homosexual, I would be reluctant to hire someone for work in my home from one of those groups, as my home is a very personal place to be. Nevertheless, I would expect that some business outside of my home would indeed yes, give the prostitute, the alcoholic, the homosexual, a place to work and contribute to society. Does the law forbid a corporation from denying employment to an alcoholic, if such alcoholism does not affect their job performance, and can be proved that it has not? Can such an alcoholic sue for wrongful termination, if fired because they admitted they were an alcoholic? I don't know, but I would not hire an alcoholic to work in my home.
