Charlotte the absolute best book, and I have over fifty of them. is called "CyberInvesting Cracking WallStreet with your Personal Computer by David L. Brown". This gem of a book is simple, straightforward and sits dog-eared on my computer table. Reading 850 page volumes will not take the place of painstaking research although you do need a basic knowledge of technical and fundamental analysis reading the Dailies from the WallStreet Journal and Investor's Business Daily and investing in 1 or 2 great software packages (i.e. Metastock 6.5, Telescan Prosearch, E-Search, Telechart 2,000). I've got a couple of books on daytrading that are good also. I'll e-mail you about them if you want, or talk to you in the trading room on Monday.
