Modern Jews a race? There are black Ethiopian Jews, there are Oriental Jews, there are semitic Jews, there are Khazar Jews....
I think you would be hard pressed to show that modern Jews are a race!
Modern Judaism is in fact a religion made up of many different races and ethnic groups. As Yaacov says, althugh there is still a Sephardic racial element within modern Judaism, Judaism is definitely not a racial thing but a religious thing.
