Tree Man and what do we do with them after the year 2000... with the net stocks some will develop into much larger and diversified companies as they use their stocks to acquire smaller companies and others will be acquired. As more people getused to using credit cards on the net these firms will get additional sources of income in joint ventures with banks and credit card companies. Right now many net ventures live off of ad revenues. Transactional income will accellerate as the web leads to critical mass. Technologies such as adsl and cable modems shall alleviate speed problems keeping ones focus towards the net.
