Dwight, first of all, let me observe in reference to Marcos' post that you obviously have no understanding of irony, or creative writing, or that he is not calling people derogatory names but is subtly criticizing bigots who do, okay?
Second of all, I can see from your comment about me not knowing what a Christian is, that you don't have a clue. The only reason I search the internet is that it is possible to provide urls that make online discussions interesting. I read a lot of books also, many of them about theology. Please don't make assumptions without knowing me. Maybe this erroneous assumption of yours about me shows us all why it is so easy for you to judge others, however.
There are Christians all over the world who have accepted homosexuals into their congregations, not as sinners but as full and equal participants, and have opened their non-judgmental hearts and souls to them. America is filled with ministers who even preside at homosexual unity ceremonies, and many priests and ministers are homosexuals themselves. Imagine that!!
I am tempted to say that you would not recognize a Christian if you tripped over one, however. Where on earth do you get off deciding who is, and who is not, a Christian, anyway? |
