Christine, I never said that a promiscuous person would be a poor employee. But my home is private space, and although I would be happy to have a promiscuous person -- assuming, and I would assume, that they are polite, etc -- in my home as a guest, just as I would have a homosexual in my home as a guest.

But hiring for work in my home -- well, I just would want to hire someone who more closely fits my beliefs. Nothing personal against them. Just a compatibility thing.

tell me that these celibate people are often bitter, neurotic, uptight, cannot concentrate very well, and are generally unpleasant and nerve-wracking to be around.

Wow. This on top of you saying you didn't believe that I am capable of charity.

Can you imagine what you would say if I said that homosexuals are "often bitter, neurotic, uptight, cannot concentrate very well, and are generally unpleasant and nerve-wracking to be around."?

The firestorm of insults towards me from a host of self-righteous SI posters would be of incredible proportions and vehemence.

Yes, double standards are alive and well.
