You know, hal, Satan is a tricky subject around here. I would agree that Emile is Satan personified, according to the rules of the game as it is played here, but Jane thinks I am Satan personified!! Can you imagine that?
Every time someone says something that is disturbing to a certain kind of "Christian" here, that person is immediately labelled as Satan. In fact, I think that people who see Satan everywhere are seriously mentally ill.
There is certainly a lot of name calling going on!! It is definitely a defense, a way to block out uncomfortable thoughts or inconvenient facts and compartmentalize, isn't it?
Anyway, isn't Satan just another word for Santa? They have the same letters and everything!! |
